The Cheongsam Reimagining Plan
This project lets users experience cheongsam making through three areas. In the Classic Area, users get a first look at traditional cheongsam. They then unlock the Innovation Area, where five cheongsams made from intangible cultural heritage materials can be viewed from all sides. In the Workshop Area, users choose frog buttons and collar styles, cut fabric along a dashed line, and see their own design in a 360-degree mirror. The project turns passive viewing into hands-on participation, helping young people in Hong Kong reconnect with cheongsam culture.
